2.1 Information We Do NOT Collect
All Calqhub calculators run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal financial information (income, savings, debt, property details, KiwiSaver balances, or any calculations you enter). Your data remains on your device and is deleted when you close your browser or clear your cache. We have no access to this information.
2.2 Information We DO Collect
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our Site. Google Analytics collects:
- Pages you visit and time spent on each page
- Referring website or search query
- General geographic location (city/region level, not street address)
- Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), browser, and operating system
- Cookie identifiers to track sessions across pages
Google Analytics does not collect any of the financial information you enter into our calculators. This data helps us improve the Site, understand which calculators are most useful, and identify technical issues.

6. Data Security
We take data security seriously. Since all calculator operations occur in your browser, your financial data is never at risk of breach on our servers. Google Analytics data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections and encrypted in transit. Google maintains strict security controls over analytics infrastructure.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
Calculator Data: We do not store calculator data. It exists only in your browser during your session and is automatically deleted when you close the page or clear your cache.
Google Analytics Data: Google Analytics retains aggregated and anonymized session data for up to 26 months. After that period, older data is automatically deleted. Individual session identifiers expire after your browsing session ends.
8. Children and Minors
Calqhub is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately. 9. International Visitors
Calqhub is operated in and from New Zealand. If you access our Site from outside New Zealand, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in New Zealand, which may have different privacy laws than your home country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
